Solange: SIT THE HELL DOWN

Now Sloane, I must tell you I have always felt the most for Beyonce's dear little sister Solange. While the entire family was out making Beyonce a star, little Solange was left to be...well a fringe member of the Destiny's Chile world. If you think about where was Solange when Matthew and Tina were on the D-Chile world tours? She had to be all of 6 when she came to the realization that the focus of her entire family's world was Beyonce and making Beyonce a star. I mean does her having a child at 17 attest to nothing but the fact that she was the forgotten child? For all the Knowles' grandstanding, teenage pregnancy does not really fit in with the pretty picture, now does it?

So over at Crunk & Disorderly, I read a little something about how Solange calls herself the heir to the MusicWorld empire that is now run by her father. "In five years I'll be answering those calls. I'll be the president and CEO." How deep is the Beyonce shadow, that her proud aspiration in life is to be her sister's manager? One day....some day....she'll be in charge....she'll be in the front office rather than posing for d-list pics on Indimix.com.... Enjoy the guilt money I know you get from your parents and sister...and sit down!
