Cannes Red Carpet: Sophie Marceau
You would never know by my rusty French, but I studied the language for almost 8 years. A staple of like two years of classes was the French classic La Boume starring Sophie Marceau. It was a brilliant movie like the Parisiene Sixteen Candles. Mme. Marceau is a screen goddess in France - think Julia Roberts. Now, the suit. Hmmm, I just don't like the cut...especially the tapered leg of the pants. The shoes are also bothering the hell out of me, but again, fashion is what you bring the ensemble. And, I think that French je ne c'est quoi that she exudes makes the whole thing work. If Kerry Washington was in this it would be a disaster, get what I mean?
