It is such a shame when you work for a cause and give your all, only to have some outside, uncontrollable force bring you down. Atlanta's Mayor Shirley Franklin is facing some drama on the professional front as her daughter Kai Franklin Graham is now the subject of a federal investigation concerning money obtained from drug trafficking. Now Kai's ex-hubby Tremayne has been sentenced to life in prison for being involved in a Mexican drug cartel and who would have thought until now that Kai could have reaped the benefits of a shipment of over 1000 grams of ye-yo from L.A. to Atlanta and South Carolina. Feds say that there is a paper trail of money transfers from Tremayne to Kai, so I think the girl may be in just a wee bit of trouble! What's up with black women and these good-for-nothing black men? Which leads me to say-let's pray that Barack Star does not have any skeletons in his closet because it would be refreshing to see a drama-free politician for once, wouldn't you say?
