You know now that I think about it, seeing Tameka undressed makes me look at Usher quite differently. Rather than opting for the ordinary trophy wife, he is with a real woman. Doesn't the idea that his ego is not connected with the "street value" of his wife mean something? Let's be real people, a dark brown skinned, 38 year old, black woman with three kids and stretch marks isn't exactly a saught after prize these days. But to Usher, she is gold...I appreciate that.

Well, well, well...it is official Sloane, Diddy and Kim Porter have ended their relationship. Remember this picture from a while back? Diddy out shopping with Kim in L.A. and then an hour later making out with a blond in a parking lot. Yea, I know - a damn shame. But, let's be real does this have anything to do with Kim or is Diddy that guy that NO WOMAN could make faithful? I actually like Kim Porter, she is down right beautiful and I think she gets a bad rap overall. Is she a professional baby mama who has been repeatedly dogged out? Totally. Has this role worked out very well for her? Hello, $40k/mth in child support, million-dollar townhouse and international notoriety. So let's not hate too much on Ms. Kim, cause we know a whole lot of groupie chics out there who were all too happy with their ride in the Bentley and glass of OJ in the morning.

Jay-Z and Larry Johnson share an apartment?

Mmmmm, some very weird information from bossip.com...apparently, Jay "co-owns" an apartment in one of the Trump buildings with football player Larry Johnson. It is not his main apartment at the Time Warner Center, but another where building personal say that Beyonce never visits. And, apparently Jay has this very weird control over Larry, "cussing him out" for appearing in a Fantasia video, giving him Rocawear clothes, and letting him wear his Rocafella chain.........

Yea, I don't quite know what to make of this either. And, what is interesting to me is that many many years ago there was quite a buzz about Jay-Z being the "gay rapper" a la Wendy Williams....that is until he started dating Beyonce. He Loves Her Not...

Who is Jill Scott? really had to have some of the best love songs of our generation...really, she re-invented the love song in a way, don't you think? Well the love, scuse me, the LOVE that inspired that album is over. Jill Scott and her husband Lyzel the man who loved her so well she made song after song after song about that dizzying emotion - are getting divorced. Yes, Sloane, yes. Here is to hoping that Jill will now become a more well rounded artist, and make some dark, foreboding, angry music. I must tell you that is my petpeeve with Jilly from Philly, she is too damn happy all the time. I have long since cried "BITCH YOU NEVER GET MAD AT THAT NIGGA?!?!?!?" Sorry for the language, but really as we see by the divorce, it was not all good. Well, it is a sad day in black love...

Girl, I am sure I am totally mutilating the spelling of his name but I can not even bother to look up the correct spelling. So after being spotted at Mr. Chows and a few clubs in L.A. a few months back, Kimora and Djimon made an "official" appearance together at a party in Cannes. I know you hate Kimora -- really cause you secretly want her life, don't lie -- but I must tell you that their pairing does not bother me. I am sure she is just happy to find a man she can wear 4 inch heels with and not see the top of his baseball cap all night. Now of course there are many, many rumors about Kimora's sexuality, that she is bi or lesbian or whatever. So then it could be said that Djimon is her *purse*. Whatever, can I just have her shoes?

Sloane, I won't say the rest but it is obviously in the feline family...so the girl is now supposedly dating Lenny Kravitz. Half of me is like, does she ever give that cat a rest? I mean she was just dating Josh Hartnett or Orlando Bloom, I forget, actually I think its both within the last few months. The other half of me, is like girl, at least he is not some panzy, maybe gaybe. But I guess this all goes to my theory that white women just have an entirely different dating morale than black girls...but that is another convo we must have soon!

It has been weeks since I have gone to the movies. Seems as if nothing good is showing in this down time before the big-picture release weekend at the end of the month. The only movies that I will go to see this month are Waitress and Georgia Rule starring Lindsay Lohan and Jane Fonda which opens on 5/11. June is going to be a big movie month as I want to see Ocean's Thirteen, Live Free or Die Hard and Crazy Love.

Out of all these movies, I am dying to see Crazy Love the most. The film is based on a true story- the love story of Burt and Linda Pugach. In the fall of 1957 when Burt Pugach met Linda Riss, Pugach was a married New York City attorney and Riss was a 20-year-old single gal from the Bronx. Burt and Linda dated for two years only to break-up in 1959 and what happens next is a little more than crazy.

Distraught by the demise of their relationship, Burt hired three thugs to throw lye in Linda's eyes, which then caused her partial blindness and landed him a 14-year sentence in jail. This psychotic and psychologically disturbing love story made headlines all over New York and in 1974 the media had a field day when, a year after making parole, Burt and Linda married.

Yeah, crazy right? Is that love or co-dependence or what?

Burt and Linda are both still alive and married today. There is of course more to the story so we must go see it. Crazy Love opens June 1.
