she doesn't choose the background. it chooses her. she has no foreground potential. the fashion will only take you so far. she either needs to marry a hot, rich bachelor like your beloved vicki, or get herself a benny medina-style guru with the power to shove her totally lackluster character down our throats. she just has no oomph, no star power, no charisma. she needs to lend her fashion power to kerry washington. together they might make a star.
LOL....too funny, and really you hit my point exactly - she needs a Benny Medina type guru. I am not saying Kelly has any real talent, I am just saying that she deserves to be in that "starlet" bunch of other no-talents with big careers. There is no black starlet. someone who professionally goes to parties, is seen in US weekly and perhaps does some work in between all of that.
