Chase:
Just a reminder to come out and support your adopted country tomorrow evening in Brooklyn. As the S.O. has been telling you forever the leader of the opposition in Jamaica, Bruce Golding will be arriving in New York this evening for a week of fundraising activities. His first stop tomorrow morning is a private fundraiser at the 3 West Club on 51st Street for the corporate types. Of course yours truly will be in attendance, even though I am the furthest thing from a corporate powerhouse. Later in the evening the committee will be holding the event that you should come to- a townhall meeting at the Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn. It is supposed to start at 6 p.m. but if the event is running on Jamaica time you can count on around 7 p.m. Jamaicans from all walks of life will be out supporting their candidate. Come and have a glimpse into Jamaican politics.

P.S. In Jamaica Mrs. Golding is considered to be quite the fashionista, a compliment that she pins on all of her years spent living in N.Y.C. Another interesting fact on the first-lady-to-be is that she used to work for the NAACP.
