Remember that post that I did about Portia announcing free health care for children under 18? Well at the end of her speech our great prime minister announced that the Minister of Finance, Dr. Omar Davies would speak later that evening and explain how the PNP government would finance the estimated $350 million that this promise will cost.
That was Wednesday and today is Friday and Omar Davies is yet to give an answer. Personally I think that Ms. Portia sprung this elaborate plan on Mr. Davies at the last minute and he is still trying to crunch the numbers to figure out how the hell Jamaica will ever afford this.
But in the meantime, I am sure poor people are happy that they will have free health care for their children. If only people could focus on the long term instead of the short and get these people out of power.

BILL WILSON - FALSE PROPHET
The Lord knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile. Psalm 94:11
It is important to note that Bill Wilson's (Alcoholics Anonymous) faith system was not based on Jesus Christ and Him crucified; nor is there any mention of Jesus Christ being the Savior from his sin. Both he and Bob Smith (co-founder of AA) embraced and promoted a variety of spiritual experiences, which included practicing spiritualism and conversing with the dead (which the Bible forbids) and being heavily involved in séances. Wilson also acted as a medium or channeler. It was while involved in these types of religious experiences, not Biblical Christianity, that Wilson developed his Twelve Steps (Pass It On, pp 156, 198, 275, 278).
