Chase: Please, please let me know what you thought of the NAACP's funeral for the "N" word which was held in Detroit yesterday. Was it really necessary to have a coffin and a ceremony? In 1944 they had a funeral for Jim Crow, so maybe I am just being my usual harsh self, thing is, I can think of so many other things to do with my day than to attend a funeral for a word that is not even referred to by it's name in polite company.

UGH...I swear we need some new political/social organizations...the naacp is SO out of touch with the masses of black people. it is supported by old church ladies and idealist black people...let's be real, how many black people even knew they did this funeral??? so over it.
