I know that you rarely watch Larry King, but did you catch his show tonight? In case you didn't know, this week Larry is celebrating 50 years in broadcasting and will refrain from dedicating an entire hour to stories such as Daniel Birkhead arriving in Kentucky with Dannielynn; instead, Larry is interviewing a string of high-profile guests. Tonight Oprah was on.
Opie and Larry talked about everything under the sun, from the power bestowed upon her as a media personality to her endorsement of Barack Obama to James Frey's semi-fictitious memoir to her book club fave book of the moment "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy (which by tomorrow night will have jumped from # 10 to #1 on Amazon's Best Seller list.) Of notable mention though were Opie's two references to Stedman, who she is rarely seen with these days...Overcompensation maybe?
Here's a great clip of Oprah talking about what it is like to go from pinching pennies to now being able to buy everything in the store.
