R.I.P "N" Word

Please, please let me know what you thought of the NAACP's funeral for the "N" word which was held in Detroit yesterday. Was it really necessary to have a coffin and a ceremony? In 1944 they had a funeral for Jim Crow, so maybe I am just being my usual harsh self, thing is, I can think of so many other things to do with my day than to attend a funeral for a word that is not even referred to by it's name in polite company.

Say What Jessica Alba?

I must tell you that I have never been particularly impressed by Jessica Alba. But, have you read some of the choice quotes that Perez dug up from her?

Wow....to read the diaries of a white girl stuck in a brown girl's body...the frustration! Now, her comment on Cameron Diaz have some truth to it, lets be real. You never hear Cameron referred to as a Latina actress...ever. Not that Cammy is clamouring for the moniker. Jessica just wants you to know she is just a misunderstood white girl....her brown skin is the misunderstanding dammit!
